Bugis- by accident?

Today, Michelle, a resident of Toa Payoh, hit an all knew level high of dumb when she accidentally took the train to bugis. How did she do it one might ask? Well it began when she boarded the train home from Orchard- or thought she did. Only three stops later did she realize she was heading in the wrong direction, and switched over to the opposite platform. Unfortunately at City Hall, the opposite platform goes to Pasir Ris/Changi. Thus, our unsuspecting protagonist found herself in Bugis. It also didn't help that it was peak hour and she was unable to catch the next two trains. Further investigations are taking place as to how this unfortunate incident occurred. Eyewitness accounts appreciated.


A million miles away is too far, so how do I retrace my steps?
What I thought was wasn't and everything else came crashing.
I know the truth now, and the truth hurts.
